The Toonsheep, the Shearer and The curious case of Michael Owen

Sooo after many no yes maybes not today’s shearer is finally taking care of the lost sheep at Newcastle. Welcome to the show ladies, gentlemen and barca fans (can’t really categorize them in the former since it maybe insulting to the rest: P), 7 games, 1 point below in relegation zone with a new master key will they escape? Only time and luck can tell. The virginal game of shearer’s was not as expected however it was not too shabby. Harper had some brilliant moments,lil Puyol had his usual fuck ups and the ref was against Owen yet again. The one player who was below par though was martins how many great misses wow… I mean he has in my opinion had the usual all power no aim shots but even for him that was a little too many misses especially in the situation that Newcastle was in. Newcastle seems to always be the story of the second half they grit grind and get through the first. The second however is a horror in the making. One goal is what it mostly takes for Newcastle to let in an array of the rest. The team needs to realize there are still 45 minutes in the half and a goal can be made in 1 minute so it’s no use leaving your nose from the grindstone yet.

The only thing that now makes me a bit nervous is about Owen and his stay at Newcastle. The arrival of shearer complicates matters a bit. Owen loves shearer and respects the legend, he has mentioned this many times, hence if prompted by him Owen would not leave. This would be a very weird thing since I don’t know how well Newcastle is going to be doing honestly. Even with the shearer and lets say the relegation threat going away at the end of the season, Newcastle may not be the best suited club for Owen and viceversa to be fair to the toon fans. I may be totally wrong hopefully and Newcastle do extremely well next season with skipper Owen but a new club would be more suited for Owen to reconstruct and restructure his career. However for now more goals and getting out of relegation shall be more than enough.

You wake up in your bed, still drugged from some god forsaken nightmare and drenched in sweat breaking from a fever. You painstakingly look at your clock to get the time and realize shit its just 3 am. You cant breathe, you feel like you took red bull and sleeping pills at the same time hence you cant sleep and of course the expired medicine you took does not help your case and however hard you try to fall asleep as in 3 hours you have to get to work. You know then damn nothing can can go beat how bad today shall turn out. Who knew real could make all that seem trivial. I shall not go to the painstaking details of the rape, actually is it really rape if its willing. real were hardly even trying apart from the saint himself. I unlike many had the false hope real would win but i knew we would not go through. I had already prepared myself that CL was not something real was going to get after watching them play at home. However what i was not prepared for in anyway was to see real stab themselves but then offer the sword to liverpool. There was no fight at all, the least i was expecting was to see real strive to get to penalties. Liverpool came to pillage but real had already stripped down for them. All be said and done, Real Madrid can still win the liga, lets hope the fallen white angels can still pick themselves up.

a love for Club or love for a team , where lies the "Real" love?

I have been asked this alot, indirectly but never really gave it much thought till a couple of days back. With Madrid my loyalties are solely to the team. I like the way they play( or lately the way they can). I do believe once a player stops playing well, its time for him to be packed, stamped and be delivered out. I would not mind famous polished diamond players or the diamonds in the rough as long as they shine bright enough to burn. So that clears one part that as much as i respect the heights a player has taken us, if the lamp is low, its time to change the candle so as to avoid momentary darkness.
The one question that i dont know where exactly i stand though is that of the history. See i am not from Madrid, neither have been there ever, thus common patriotism doesnt really fuel the fire of my love for Real Madrid. Thus when people shall talk of the politics behind Madrid, yes i know the theory, no i dont and cant really grab the workings. I see the team, i like the way they play, i fall in love with the team. It is really broken down in those steps for me. Thus the dictators and their sadistic reigns could bother me less. If they wore the shorts and kicked the ball i believe my opinion would change. Thus when someone while arguing says that Madrid had a horrible dictator and thus real won and hence i should not watch them makes no sense to me. I did not watch the team because i loved the dictator or the country. If it is matter of patriotism i strongly and proudly support the rogue and scandalous Kenya ( you know your country is corrupted when they steal from FIFA 3 times) and the Indian soccer teams. I dont know much about the latter but i am learning alot more, but of Kenya i am proud to say i know a lump and i even own a jersey ( i have doubts of it being authentic, then again neither was our management).
Thus i am wondering what does one classify as a fan. I could care less about real Madrid's club management ( Since a while though i am sure alot of fans would care less too haha) however they do pay for the player buys. In the end yes its showbiz if the camera man is drunk the actors however well they perform will miss being in the spotlight, but in the end does one really come for anything but a good performance. Sometimes the argument that real Madrid is bad because of the history they had in the country is a bit like that of girls dont know much about soccer because well girls never saw it as far back as boys have.

ahhh newcastle...and on Owen( lol isnt it always on him)

Before i get the question well no I didnt get to see the game since i was at my course...however it looks like nothing i missed much Newcastle lost 3-0 to the rovers, mehh. I dont get how Newcastle who i believe and sorry if i am wrong , bought about 5 defenders the past season, play like they have no defense...its really sad when Gutierrez has to come to tackle a player all the way from the mid when there are defenders around.

The game from the skimpy highlights and the rant of a nu fan friend i gathered that two things were mostly amiss in the front both strikes missing chances. Yes its very unfortunate and clearly frustrating, but i dont think its fair to blame Owen on him missing and mourhino is a bitch... Owen needs ten to get one in... ok there he needs to calm the fuck down breathe and keep it in his pants... Owen misses sadly its true , but wat 2-3 chances.. he still nets the ball in too... they lose one game and its blamed on him. I am sorry what about the games where he missed still scored and then Newcastle lost because they let 2 in or tied. Not to mention alot of strikers take tons of shots before driving one in look at adebayor, henry in the later days with arsenal and with France. The whole just because i love Owen making a dig is getting annoying especially with u fucking hobos making shit up that i have never ever said... as for one i never ever said Owen was the best player... he is my favourite player and clearly if its hard for you to differentiate the two come to my class ill help you, or for once use your hands for some meaningful cause and flip open a dictionary. My personal fave besides that one is where i so called claimed that Owen is the best striker as of now... yes because in the recent years i only saw repeats of the 98 games and was locked in a room with no news sources... very common in Canada age old practise. I dont even know that players like torres, messi etc exist....i think you should be more worried why you obsess over my obsession with him more than anything else, there is still hope for you all and its called tranquilizers....

The club should really focus more on getting a good dm and that inconsistent shit Lil puyol needs to leave. I dont get how mike ashley doest buy... whats he keeping the money for playing poker? The silliest comment from him was its not easy to buy players.... umm well no dish some money loser and maybe players will come or if you are just too retarded ask man city for help then , fuck they seem to be buying even goal posts. I know its blasphemy to say this but i am fond of Newcastle since watching them quite a bit but yes i will leave the club as soon as Owen is out of the prison stripes.. and thus i do see how Given wants to leave the club. The 3 R's of real, owen and the new year :) with no fucking buses!!

ALLO i am alive... my work and studying more importantly Owen and Real's depressing play had stopped me from writing anymore. However today watching real play made me realize how much i have missed watching the team. It started off brilliantly with an amazing thru ball by the one the only Higuain... so good to see his hot ass back from injury, robben shot it in with utmost class and voila 3min goal.. and that boys and girls is the recipe for a great game.. insert one higuain for stability, one robben for taste, one pinch of raul for spice and just a drop of ramos for magic... and there you have it a perfect batter. For the base dahlings add a whole lot of iker, a good helping of pepe, a dash of gago for that sweet long lasting stay, diarra for spunk and a bit of cannavaro for that slutty, easy , been there done that player aroma... I missed this real and i hope this is not our one time special, but we get back to playing like this. Juande has done a good job with the same team we had, the players look revived and hungry. Hope this continues.
Owen seems to be having his own thing, the rumors of his leaving are depressing eww chelsea or worse inter. Thinking of him makes me very sad. I dont know where he can go that would suit him or them have enough money for him. I know its hard for people to understand why if i like so many other players who are new fresh doing well, i cant retire owen from myself. Its simple, 12 years, he is like that first goal, you score better ones along the way but u never forget the first one. The great thing is though, mikey is scoring most every game, the last game which Newcastle tied he opened the score with a brilliant shot. Given had as usual amazing saves. Two players in Newcastle who i have come to adore are given and gutirez, brilliant players, if they had a better defense the team would actually be amazing with these two. Owen wherever he goes atleast i know for sure he shall score. I know alot of you pieces of hobos dont think so because of his fitness, but as clearly seen owen can scored fresh of the injury whereas not many players can, so there take your stupid opinion and shove it.
The new year was a blast i learned quite alot and had tons of fun, I have the best friends ever who got me an the owen liverpool jersey *heart*. I have been wanting that and looking for it since 3 years. They got me soo much more I love them soo much. However one thing i realized is the buses here are SHIT. The bus drivers have been on strike since December, what the hell because they want more money. I am sorry, they already make more than a graduate student with 8 years of studying as opposed to 2-3 paid training permits, and you want more. They have no sympathy from me, they left us when temperatures are -26ish and walking in snow can get u buried there. They want more respect hah fat chance. Its soo inconvenient i cant go anywhere without a ride or freezing my ass off. Do they realize how hard a 5'2 person has to walk in 25 cms of snow...i sink and get stuck. Dont laugh its not that funny...if you are the one on the receiving end. The first day of the strike was the worst day, the snow was falling heavily and i had to slug my ass 45 min to work i was soo fed up walking on snow i was walking on the road, which was covered too and ended up getting a ride with a random couple.
The only great thing about this year is that i am horribly in love with the little kids i teach. They are sooo adorable. After the break for Christmas , when i came back to school, they would not stop hugging and kissing me and saying in their little broken English, miss Dora, sooo cute. Not to mention they can now say hala Madrid very well and we even paint the real crest :)
